Project Spotlight

Lancaster Conservancy serves to provide Lancaster, York, and Berks Counties with access to wild forested lands, clean waterways. With over 50 designated nature preserves and outdoor recreation lands, 40+ miles of trail, and over 10,000 acres protected into perpetuity, it’s important work. As an accredited nonprofit land trust, the Conservancy is supported by its members through a variety of means, including events-based fundraising.

Dine on Harvest Moon is the Conservancy’s largest and most fundraising event of the year, and the Shumaker team again worked side by side with our friends at Gilded Lily to transform Lancaster Marriott’s Heritage Ballroom into a scene reminiscent of the Might Susquehanna as a backdrop for the evening’s festivities.

Room transformations are a specialty area for our team, and the ShuCrew always welcomes the opportunity to partner with local nonprofits and community organizations to help further advance their mission whilst creating high-energy atmospheres for guests and stakeholders.
