- Attract wholesale car dealers to participate either in person or online to purchase Ultra-highline, Classic, Muscle and Specialty Vehicles.
- Create a buzz to kick off the spring wholesale auto market
- Align theme with 80th anniversary celebration for the Auction
- To sell a record number of high-end cars and to raise funds for Aaron’s Acres.

- Transform auto auction warehouse into high-end event space with online simulcast.
- Generate excitement through audio, video and decor.
- Reinforce the Manheim Pa brand.
Main Entrace and Design Elements
One of the key considerations for each year’s Xtreme Spring is how to create a high-energy atmosphere in the auto auction lanes — and on theme.
2025 marked the 80th anniversary of the auction, so an 80s theme was the perfect choice. Shumaker PDT created custom day-glo graphics incorporating the Xtreme Spring logo, a visual that was carried through the rest of the event space with lighting.
Lighting, Audio and Decor
For this event, Shumaker transformed auto auction lanes into an energetic high-end show using lights, drapery, and music. Lighting patterns moved across the floor disguising the cement and creating visual interest. Lighted drapes softened the space and provided a sound baffle. Participants enjoyed food stations in an 80s theme (provided by The JDK Group) with custom neon accents throughout the space. Custom-built acrylic Rubik’s Cubes were both suspended as focal points and stacked to create visual thematic interest. Audio allowed people to clearly hear the auctioneers over the party sounds. Following the auction, the audio was used to fill the space with party music. Large video screens provided by Shumaker showed the cars and bid offers both on-site and online. A stage wash highlighted the auctioneers while moving lights tracked the cars showing them to their best advantage.
A key moment of the evening’s festivities was Grace Huang’s ride down the “tunnel of time travel” in a fully restored DeLorean (and perfectly on theme!). Shumaker PDT provided dramatic crytojet and strobe effects to add some pop to this celebratory moment. Following her entrance, Huang celebrated the Auction’s 80-year history and spoke about future innovations.
